Christmas

Christmas

My Christmas! haha.. On Christmas Eve's, Ashley drove Daniel and I down to Keswick (her 'hometown') And guess what? Her car was covered in snow AND ice.. haha, shud have seen us.. we were practically punching and banging on her car to get the ice off.. really bad.. It has been snowing since the 22nd evening.. one thick layer.. After half and hour, we finally took off!!! woohoo~~

After 1hour plus, we reached Keswick town.. Went to take money from bank.. went to the dollar store.. haha.. finally found the mint chocolate that Ashley talked about so much.. Den off to her house.. haha.. or rather Dave and Lisa's house.. (Side note to chinese ppl: do not refer to any of your white friend's parents as Aunty and Uncle, jus say their name) ahah, but it seems so rude to call them like that.. haha.. oh well, we arrived early.. so we watched I robot and ate grilled cheese.. yummm.. haha.. oh ya, and they have the most comfy couch ever.. u can jus fall asleep in it.. haha, each seat has it's own leg rest thingy when u pull the lever by the side.. besides, if u lean back, it's almost like a bed.. hehe.. =)) Ohya, and ppl nowadays dun use normal fire places.. they have 'electric fire places' with flames and all.. ahhaa..

Den in the evening we went to her Aunt's place.. Aunt Vicki.. that house sure is active! haha, all the kids running up and down.. Kimmy, Elise, Dalton and Curtis.. haha, plus Ashley's stepbros.. Christopher and Steven.. It was rather amusing when they tried to do card tricks on us! And dinner was served.. haha, there was this little cracker thing which u pop before dinner.. it comes with a party hat and a little gift .. i got a little whistle thing.. haha.. the fun part was popping out the cracker.. den we had such a huge dinner.. turkey, ham, buns, broccoli coleslaw thing.. so much.. cant name them all.. haha, Daniel kept eating and eating.. everyone was shock.. haha.. Ashley keeps saying that he has a spare leg to store all his food... After dinner we even had little sweet stuff.. cookies and all.. tea! haha.. it was so cute.. they had a tea cosy (like clothes) for the tea pot to keep it warm..

Den we all went back to Ashley's place.. Daniel played with her brothers.. arm wrestling.. aha.. they beat him well.. saying that rice is not as good as mash potatoes and meat.. den they played pool.. haha.. den Viper came down and lick lick.. hehe..

Next morning.. Was woken up by a stampede! Ashley and I slept in the basement.. her brothers stomped up and down to wake us.. ahh~~ do u know that kids over here get overexcited cos of Christmas and wakes up at 5, 6am to see whether Santa came !?! And ashley said she usually gets woken up by snow over her face, licks from Viper, or her dad coming to tickle her awake.. so scary.. ahhh~~ haha.. anyways, when we got up to the living room.. we got christmas stockings.. wow.. so many things inside.. chocs, socks, mitttens, scarf, stationeries, toothpaste etc.. Den after that was opening of presents under the Christmas tree. i shud have taken a photo.. it was liked filled to the brim of the living room! they sure spend alot on gifts.. Like, Christopher had an electric guitar, Ashley had a stereo, Steven had a snowboard.. This are only the 'big gifts'.. they still have clothes, bags, gym set, perfume, food.. oh wow.. haha..Even me and daniel got some stuff from their grandparents.. food and warm stuff.. hee..

AFter lazing around for some time.. we headed back to UTSC residence.. Merry Christmas~~
