Happy Day out Downtown

hehe, finally a happy post for u. Yesterday, I finally got out of the house! Suppose to meet up with aunt sally and uncle luciano for lunch downtown. So in order to 'achieve' that, i hopped on Ashley's car on her way to work. so that i can catch a bus to go downtown from there. sounds like such a long and ardous journey eh? but it's all worth it =)

We went to this cozy western food place. all of us had 'montreal smoked meat sandwich' or sth like that. hehe, uncle luc said that dad would freak out if he knows what we're eating! seriously, it was like 2 slices of bread and a WHOLE CHUNK of thinly sliced ham thingy. Trust me, it's good. haha, especially coming from me, someone who doesnt really like meat all that much. hehe, they even had to use this toothpick thingies to keep the gigantic sandwich intact. ahah.. and the time together was good.. we chat about the ending of this world.. *bleh* kinda morbid eh? but looking at the world, i think it's true. it's coming. just dunno when. i had a great time, uncle luciano and aunt sally are not the scary ppl kind, they are the fun & easy going type in fact.. once again, thanks for lunch!

Weather was really good. warm, in fact, shouldn't have wore jeans and shoes (but the shoes helped with the walking, so..) bright & sunny too! was savouring every second of it.. won't really get weather like this soon. I think this is my fav kind of weather, not too hot, not too cold, not sticky too... eheh.. nice! and makes me feel happy. went around all the nice tall buildings and stuff.. haha, and Jerrine will be so proud of me. I finally found H & M!! and when i tell u this, u're gonna beat me up.. guess where it is? it's just right at the front when u get out of the Dundas subway station. And i've always stopped at this station. how blur can i get??? anyways, i did some window shopping. kinda fun.

after that, went to this indigo bookstore. i love bookstores! they smell nice (cos of the cafe), feels nice, lotsa things to see.. they had like back to school stuff mostly.. but this one is nice, there's like 2 floors, super big big kind. took a book, sat down for hours to kill time. hehe.. read some chick-lit about this ABC girl. one comment was kinda hilarious, dunno if it's true though. the chinese govt passed the law againt spitting in public not bcos it's utterly disgusting and not hygienic but bcos ppl can slip and fall over the frozen spit during the winter. wow, can u imagine, there's so much spit that it forms a layer of ice!!!! scary..

yup, so that was my day. the last few days, we just rented movies, and be couch potatoes.. haha, one was the green mile, second time i'm watching it.. the other one was, guess who? that one is so funny, it actually managed to keep me awake! ohya, and the other day we went out with Linda for a movie, Red Eye.. quite good i would say, go catch it if u can.. the scarecrow guy from batman begins acted in it.. gives me the creeps. hehe, and Linda is Ashley's mexican chinese fren from high school.. she's so pretty and funny.. hehe.. no wonder she likes taking pictures.. hahaha..

on a side note, my health is deteriorating. skin on fingers starting to peel, the sign that my body needs greens. sore throat.. ahhh! need to get real food soon.
