Sushi buffet + Shopping

Yet another fun day out with my friends.. Hehe, Dorinda suggested Sushi Buffet for the longest time ever.. And today we finally decided we should do it! Haha, and we did.. Thanks to the fact that i 'earned' $12.50 from some psychology research thingy, I decided I could afford Sushi.. =P Anyways, it was a cold & snowy day.. Bad weather to wait for someone in the not well-heated bus interchange for 30 mins*hint hint* =P and also for driving.. But we arrived at 'Sushi Bar' all right! but guess what? it closes from 3pm to 5pm & we were there at 3pm!! Ahhh~~ So what next? We went to First Markham and what do u know? they have a sushi place there as well and it has extended hours during weekends.. So yay! Satisfied our japanese food cravings..

I shall list out all the food we ate and let u drool (well, of course, only for the ppl who like jap food! the rest can go 'EWWW...' hehe.. ) Needless to say, we had TONS of sushi, even one that is called spicy salmon (quite nice leh).. Tempura.. (u know what? i ordered tempura crab and they gave me tempura crab STICK.. felt so cheated, but the prawn made up for it, so it was ok =)) Something funky called Sushi Pizza.. Tako balls (similar to taco paci, but not quite up to standard.. hehe, but when u are desperate, YUMMY!) oooh, and jap dumplings too! in the end, we felt so bad eating all those fried stuff, we decided to order salad (hehe, ya, dad, i know the order is wrong) to make up for it and downed LOTS of tea to wash away the 'evilness'. But the best is yet to come.. We had GREEN TEA ice cream to end our wonderful buffet!!

After food, we went clothes shopping.. Dorinda needed some business clothes for her work-term next semester (She claims she needs to get clothes that makes her look like she's in her 30s!!) But halfway thru it, her sister called her so we can go pick her up and send her to work.. But the traffic was so bad that by the time we were almost reaching her house, her dad got home first and did that already. So we made a wasted trip but had lotsa time talking and 'bonding'.. *pats Dorinda on the back* I admire Dorinda's patience, despite the road rage.. heheh.. dun worry, Dorinda is a good driver!! Especially with all that slush, snow & ice.. Anyways, we went back and continued our shopping (the ppl at the shop must think we are crazy, coming back after one hour to look at the same things!!).. Haha, but the good thing is, she actually managed to pick out some clothes.. One purply maroon sweater, and one black sweater.. so businessy! ohh, and if u wanna shop? Shop at factory outlets, they are really much cheaper.. =)

After shopping here and there, we ended up at T & T.. So touched! They brought me specially there to grocery shop.. And pardon my excitedness, there was SO MANY things there.. haha, if u wanna chinese grocery shop, T & T is the place to be!! (haha, free advertisement man) Too bad i forgot to pull out my camera and snap a few shots of it. The first stop, Bakery! haha, ok, if u dunno me, i love buns and stuff.. It didn't really occur to me until I came here where all these nice buns are scarce.. haha.. Anyways, I shouldn't bore u with a list of what I bought, cos I bought quite a bit.. u know, it's not everyday I get to come here.. hahaha.. I think Henry was quite amused by my excitedness.. =P Yay, happy me.. I got my green veges.. and i even managed to get those golden mushroom thingies.. and fruits, PLUMS. okok, i shall spare u the torture.. in conclusion, haha, the best part of it is that chinese grocery shopping is way cheaper!! -the end of the post-
