Sunday, March 19, 2006 Church visiting This morning, followed Joanne (not roomie jo, BUT she's from spore, moved to vancouver few yrs back, currently studying at UTSC oso) to her church downtown, Knoxx Presby Church. WA, it's the stain-glass, pews, organ-playing kinda church. If u know what i mean la... It's like those catholic churches minus the catholic part of it. more traditional is how i would describe it. Quite interesting i must say. Like churchhill, it's a very diverse group of ppl but with more white ppl =)Honestly, I wasn't really used to the worship part of it, singing from a hymn book, standing up and sitting down, repeating the readings and all. Reminds me of IJ times. But the fellowship after was awesome. We went out for lunch with the 'international gang'. Seriously, there were Mexican, Singaporean, Hong Kong, China, Taiwanese (actually these 3 are all considered R.O.C), Korean (4 of them), Philippines and not forgetting Malaysian (me la). Nice & friendly bunch of ppl. Talked to Kelly when i got home. At least she'll be keeping me company for church search during summer. But mean time, we might just bus up to churchhill together =) random note 1: Lee Hom went to Malaysia.. =P going to steal Joel's poster.. Here's the video clip my bro took of Lee Hom singing: Lee Hom Video Clip random note 2: *drum roll* Zoe is going back HOME this december!! So everyone, dun miss me too much till then =) (or for my frens in Canada, dun miss me too much when i'm gone=P) yayyyy... God is SO AWESOME! Post a Comment |
