catching up

This week has been quite 'eventful'... Managed to finally meet up with Ashley & Irene for dinner on tuesday.. and den met up with Kristine on thursday.. Now it occurred to me that we shud have all met up together!! *bang head against wall* but oh well, Kristine & I had a mission to accomplish... (shopping for Dorinda's Birthday Gift) which we did.. haha.. quite happy about that!! And of course on saturday, Dorinda's Birthday Party..

It's great catching up with frens.. shud do that more often!! Now that everyone is going their own ways.. U can even use one hand to count how many are going back to school for fall semester!! basically, Kristine, Henry & Sandra (maybe Yuri too) Peter & Dorinda going on workterm, Irene going to France, Ashley & Tiff not going to UTSC anymore.. I guess that's going to be life from now on, ppl come ppl go, but memories & friendship stays (hopefully).. okok, i shall stop being the forever nostalgic self..

Irene & Ashley was super nice and subwayed all the way downtown to have dinner with me when they could've just done it uptown.. =) thanks, really appreciate it.. We had Swiss Chalet for dinner.. haha.. the servings were so big that i could only go through my Salad.. Even then, i was full to the brim! Had chicken for days.. =P After dinner, we had a walk around downtown and Irene was a good tour guide.. hahaha.. just kidding! Tour guiding has become a second nature to Irene... Look what work has done to all of us.... uh ohh..

As for Dorinda's Birthday on saturday, we had Montana's for dinner.. They have nice steaks, ribs, chicken wings and stuff there.. good stuff! After that, we went back to Dorinda's place for games, cake & booze.. (haha, barely anyone drank) We played Balderdash! Kristine & I teamed up and won amazingly.. Can't believe ppl actually picked our "walking in a jellyfish manner" muahhhahaha.. I still can't stop laughing imagining everyone trying to imitate that action!! ohya, most of the ppl who went are Dorinda's high school frens.. Cool bunch of ppl.. =) gotta get the pics from Dorinda..

Oh and that night, I decided to stay over at Dorinda's cos it was too late to subway back downtown.. (it ended around 2am) but it was a good time of catching up with Dorinda after so long too!! hhaa.. ya, we chatted and chatted while lying in bed till like 3,4am? dunno what time it was when i was too tired to go on.. Next morning I went to church with her family.. I like that place, had a homey feeling to it..

ok, i'm giving in.. the nostalgic feeling is too overwhelming.. haha.. it reminds me of all the nights where i chat with my roomies till one of us falls asleep (usually me).. i miss church back home .. i miss having my family around.. i even miss having a car to sit in or drive in (if u know what i mean).. okok, december is coming soon!! that is something i'll hv to hang on to for now.. =)
