Boston Trip

Here's a very belated post of my Boston trip...

My boston trip started bright and early on a friday morning. Mel & I woke up at 4am to catch our 6am flight.. Surprisingly, all our flights were so smooth!! It left on time, arrived early etc. But we couldn't check in the hotel until 3pm.. So we basically roamed around the whole of downtown Boston, trying to stay awake.. Went to Quincy market for brunch!! Had yummy haddock fish pie & clam ChowDA.. Didnt know Boston is good for seafood.. =) maybe i'll find a job in Boston just so i can eat seafood! =P

After all that roaming, we headed back to the hotel and rested a little.. After that, Mel went to look for Henry.. and as for me... hanged around more in the hotel.. watch tv, fell asleep.. Aiya, I was quite panicky in the end cos couldnt contact Stephanie!! I called her phone like 5 times.. maybe there's sth wrong with my roaming.. :S and den I found out that Wen Eu won't be coming till the nxt day (didn't get his sms oso) *sigh* to be honest, i was freaked out.. in the end... so paiseh! i had to stay with Mel & Henry.. thanks mel, dunno what to do w/o u guys!

Saturday was a much better day! =) Slept in till late, den we went out for brunch. After that met up with Wen Eu and went to Harvard/MIT to meet Shishir n his bro, Shashank. Ended up watching some MIT concert by students. It was actually quite nicely done.. Quite professional and some of the groups were really good! haah, there was a funny dance which mimicked a japanese MV, where the guys were almost naked, doing weird moves.. URGH! haha..

If you ever go to Boston, u must do the "Unofficial Harvard tour" done by students. haha.. they were really nice and tell u lotsa interesting stories, history etc. And i think Harvard has a much livelier campus compared to Princeton.. So many things happening etc..

Harvard Library... So nice! but we were not allowed to go in.. =(

Sunday, went to Wen Eu's fren's church.. Nice chinese community in China town.. After that, we manage to meet up with Stephanie for dim sum.. At night, we went to some college pub place.. Quite cosy! Oooh, and before that, we stopped by a taiwanese bubble tea place... it's sooo nice n cosy.. hahaa...

On the last day, we went for real seafood.. LOBSTER! haha.. it was yummy.. but i think i liked the crab cakes & scallop more... *drools* Thinking of it now makes me hungry again.. haha.. Wen Eu pretended to NOT know how to open the lobster, so the waitress did it for us =P and she made us wear bibs.. so we dun get the juice all over ourselves.. Click here for more pics.
